Located 35 kilometres from Toowoomba, the historic township of Goombungee is host for the annual Jacaranda Day Festival. With a program of free entertainment, market stalls offering homemade goods and plants, food, farm animal petting zoo, face painting and Cleo the Clown – there’s lots to see and do. You can also enjoy a free guided walking tour of the township and entry to the extensive exhibits in the Museum. The jacarandas will be putting on a spectacular show of colour and the trees in the main street (Mocatta Street) will be “dressed” to a movie theme this year.
