Presented on the first Wednesday of each month at 2.30pm, Curator Conversation is a series of entertaining talks hosted by Queensland Museum Curator Jeff Powell.

 

Theme: Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor Paul Antonio and Principal Economic Development Officer Shamus Garmany will present: Bold Ambitions 2038: Toowoomba Region Economic Development Strategy.

 

Hear from Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor Paul Antonio and Principal Economic Development Officer Shamus Garmany as they speak about Toowoomba’s economic development into the future.

 

The Toowoomba Region is on an upward spiral of economic development with major investments in the Toowoomba Central Business District, Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport, the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing and the Brisbane to Melbourne Inland Rail Project. The Toowoomba Region is expected to have a population of around 210,000 by 2031 and is expected to grow by an additional 10,000 jobs by 2041.
