Emily with the Seniors Enquiry Line will be hosting an information session on Social Media and Online Safety at Cooroy Library.
We rely on the internet for almost everything in our lives, so online safety is more important than ever. Come along to Cooroy Library for an informative session hosted by Seniors Enquiry Line. Topics covered include:
- how AI is making scams more convincing and the key warning signs to look out for
- how to shop online safely
- authorised transaction scams
- how to use Facebook safely
- how to protect yourself (secured websites, password managers, Authentication etc)
- referral pathways

The Seniors Enquiry Line is a free, state-wide helpline that provides information and referral support to Queensland seniors and their support networks. People can call the helpline about anything and everything. Seniors Enquiry Line help callers to find the information they need and link in with the appropriate support services.
