Seniors Card Office
Seniors Card (Queensland) commenced in 1990 as a partnership of businesses, State Government concession providers and Queenslanders aged 60 years and older. The Department of Communities administers the Seniors Card program on behalf of the Queensland Government. More than 500,000 residents hold a Seniors Card or Seniors Business Discount Card. There are more than 8,000 business outlets that provide discounts to seniors throughout the State. Membership cards are issued, upon application, to seniors whose principal place of residence is in Queensland. You can apply for a membership card online. However, if you live primarily in another State or Territory of Australia, you will need to apply for a Seniors Card from the relevant office closest to your home. Please visit the Seniors Card web site for links to other State and Territory Seniors Card web sites.
