Early Counselling and Community Outreach Program – Inala
The Early Counselling and Community Outreach Program is a specialised mental health early intervention program for children, adolescents, and adults, aged 8-25 years. The program provides assessment and treatment of mental health or emotional problems, with an emphasis on identification and treatment of mental health problems before they become of a severity requiring psychiatric treatment. Assessment and counselling are provided in a setting that is accessible to the young person. Locations used on a regular basis include a local youth accommodation and family support agency and several local schools. Services are accessible to persons and community agencies that are within Inala and surrounding suburbs. Service and referral enquiries can be made through the Inala Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
