Child and Youth Mental Health Service – Bayside
Bayside Child and Youth Mental Health Service, QLD Health, offers a free and confidential service specialising in the community treatment of children and youth 0 – 18 years of age who have, or are at risk of developing mental health problems. A range of moderate to severe mental health problems are catered for including early onset psychosis, anxiety disorders, depressive illness, trauma, severe behavioural and/or emotional disturbance, eating disorders, suicide and self harm. A team of mental health professionals offer comprehensive mental health assessments. In addition, therapeutic services, case management, individual and family counselling, crisis interventions and community liaison and education are provided.
