Blind Citizens Australia provides an advocacy and information service in relation to blindness and vision impaired. The mission of Blind Citizens Australia is to achieve equality through empowerment, by promoting positive community attitudes, and by striving for high quality and accessible services. The agency recognises that sometimes, blind and vision impaired people are discriminated against, or receive poor service due to their disability. Their individual advocacy service assists people in this situation to resolve the difficulty.
