DESCRIPTION:2 – 3rd  February \n  \nThe Noosa Summer Swim is a bucket list event for any keen ocean swimmer. \n  \nIn 2019\, the festival offers a range of distances for every ability\, from junior events to a five kilometre marathon distance where seasoned swimmers can push their limits. \n  \nJoin World Series Swims Ambassador Michael Klim and special guests for a huge weekend of sun\, surf and swims in Noosa. \n  \nSaturday Events: Junior Giants (300 metres and 1000 metres)\, one kilometre\, two kilometres and three kilometres. Outdoor Cinema. \n  \nSunday Events: Five kilometre Grand Prix\, one and a half kilometre Social Swim. \n  \nEntry Costs: Adult $39.50 – $59.50 Early Bird Entries open on 1st October 2018. Learn the international significance of the shorebirds to our world-renowned Boondall Wetlands. Discover the traditional uses of plants and other wetlands resources. After the walk\, enjoy other trails close by\, relax in the picnic area or visit the environment centre. No bookings required. Volunteer guides lead walks for groups of up to 20 people. \n  \nRequirements: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Wear a wide-brimmed hat\, secure\, fully enclosed walking shoes\, sun-smart clothing\, sunscreen and insect repellent.
