Rainforest Photography: Dealing with Low Light – Maleny

Its hard to take great photos in the rainforest because of the low light conditions. Help is at hand! Join recognised bird photographer Graeme Toft and learn how to take great photos in this challenging environment. This workshop – perfect for beginners- addresses:

  • Using correct apertures,
  • The importance of ISO,
  • Focus (auto or manual),
  • Aperture Priority,
  • Using natural light instead of artificial and more.
  • Cameras and equipment required are addressed at length.

 

Graeme Toft is a recognised nature photographer specialising in birds and he has been teaching his style of photography for four years. Graeme manages the Facebook page Australian Bird Photos which has a following of more than 4500 bird lovers. His images have been displayed by the ABC and Australian Geographic and he has had a radio segment with the ABC Sunshine Coast, which discussed birds of the Sunshine Coast and hinterland in a Talk Back forum. Graeme also conducts workshops for Teds Cameras and runs photography tuition tours in and around the Sunshine Coast. His workshops are delivered in an easily understood manner with no jargon and feedback is often about his relaxed and informative style. Cost: $59 book now.
