OUR SUNSHINE COAST CONCERT is a major concert celebrating of the 50th Anniversary of naming of the Sunshine Coast. This musical spectacular that draws together local artists and community groups to create an outstanding event to commemorate the historic occasion. Imagine a 100-piece orchestra, 200-voice choir plus 40-voice children’s choir plus dancers at the Sunshine Coast Stadium, conducted by Kim Kirkman – a birthday spectacular. The performance includes a Beatles medley, original songs written to celebrate the occasion and the epic Carmina Burana by Carl Orff. Cost: FREE.
